Learning at any level
Assess at any level, engage at any level.
How to Assess the ‘smartest one in the room’….
If you can’t beat them, join them or hide in their blind spot.

Ranked Collection: justifying their rankings
Shared Trait Collection: one thing in common
Video Playlist: explain why and what other students will get out of it.
Museum Exhibit: represent a particular point of view.
Real World Examples: illustrate a concept in the real world.
Global skills for Local application
Apply knowledge and skills in the ‘unknown space’ of the internet.
Think big but apply to small scale or areas that have not yet been researched or published into the internet or Ai.
Be purposeful and relevant to encourage reflective engagement.
Personalised Assessment
Adaptive Learning Pathways, Intelligent Tutoring Systems, Personalized Recommendations, Natural Language Processing, Data-Driven Insights, Multimodal Learning
Problem Formation in Real Life
To be able to identify that a problem exists.
Contextualise the problem within the preface of a human need.
And format a problem to be able to communicate with the Ai.
These skills will become necessary to gain the assistance of Ai. And more so, if this can be done within the Real-world of the learners.
Build layer on layer
Build upon the previous group’s work.
Develop a Body of Work and do not Publish
Students can debate and critique the data within the Body of Work
Whilst adding to the original Body of Work.
The Body of Work could be beneficial to the school and community
Opposing side of debate to Ai
Ai with its algorithms will tend to be attracted to one side of the debate.
By taking an opposing view to the debate, the Ai becomes defensive and encourages critical thought
Fail early, Fail often
Self assessing and Pre assessing will create feedback to the learner at their point of uncertainity.
Failing the criteria early and often will build resilience in the learner and create a better outcome for the learner.
By uploading the Marking Criteria the learner can submit their submission and ask Ai to assess against the criteria and provide feedback.
Formative / Summative
A model of Assessment could be that the student is using Ai for their Formative Assessment with multiple submissions.
This builds a level of knowledge through repetitive assessment cycles to enhance and refine their learning.
With the Summative Assessment using a method that is not reliant upon Ai constructing
Balanced Assessment
A panel of Assessors provides a more balanced outcome for learners.
The panel consists of the Educator, Industry, and Ai.
The Educator focus is on providing an Equitable environment, the Industry is to determine the knowledgeable content and the Ai to reduce the bias from the outcome.
The Educator has the final sign off on the outcome.
